David Wright in an architect accredited in conservation at Grade 3. Examples of work to traditional homes include:
Rathgar Home: Being a protected structure, the renovation and extension to this home was challenging and all works required Planning permission.
Works included an extension and reconfiguration of part of the ground floor. A bespoke kitchen was included in the design service and was constructed by a main contractor who specialises in high quality joinery. This was a very cost effective solution a kitchen company was not required. An extension included a downstairs bathroom and storage walls. Upgrading of insulation conforming to best conservation practice was carried out.

SANDYCOVE Home: The brief was to create a very traditional extension with the character of an orangery to bring lots of natural light into the darker spaces of the existing house. A new dining and kitchen opens out onto the patio with aluminium-composite french doors the fenestration proportions being based on the existing house. Granite bands delineating render and brick on the elevation. Internal doors include specially commissioned stained glass panels.
